If you are using a PC running Windows® you can view the course in either Internet Explorer (version 6 or higher) or the Firefox browser. If you are using a Mac, and running OS10 or higher you can view the course in either Firefox or Safari.
Probably the best way to determine if your computer will display our course properly is to take a moment to view our Sample Course. If you can respond to the questions and if the correct answer is displayed after your response, our courses will display correctly on your system.
Here are some other important considerations:
Popups:
You will need to enable popups on our site. (We do not use popup advertisements on our site). If you do not know how to enable popups, try holding down the Ctrl key while clicking the link to the course.
Screen Resolution:
Our interactive online courses are best viewed at a screen resolution of 1024 by 768 or higher. If you do not know what your screen resolution is set to, click here to view our sample course. Then click the "Click here to begin" button. If you can view the full page without vertical or horizontal scroll bars, your screen resolution will be fine. If you cannot view the full page, you will need to increase your screen resolution. Click here for instructions on changing your screen resolution.
Text Size Setting:
If your screen resolution is set to at least 1024 by 768 and you still occasionally see horizontal or vertical scrollbars (particularly on the complete-the-paragraph review questions, where a word is to be dragged to its proper position in a paragraph), you may need to adjust the text size of your browser. Click here for instructions on changing the text size in your browser. |
