Pennsylvania State Requirements

Hours Required

14 credit hours of continuing education must be completed, biennially

Compliance Date

May 31st of even-numbered years.

Approved Course Delivery Methods

• Independent self-study online courses (passing grade of 70% required on final exam)
• Classroom

Exam Requirements

Self-study courses require a final exam; however, they do not require a monitor be present at the time the examination is taken.

Course Subject Requirements

There are no license-related course subject requirements.

Carryover Credits

Licensees may not carryover any continuing education to the next compliance period.

Course Repetition

Credit will not be given for courses that are repeated within the same compliance period.

Credit Reporting

Cape will report your continuing education credits to the Pennsylvania State Real Estate Commission within 30 days of course completion. Licensees will receive a certificate of course completion from Cape, which they should keep for their permanent records.
